Revealing God's glory in our midst....

My experience as Pastor of Saint Thomas has shown that at times things are revealed slowly while often things happen all at once.  Isn’t that true in all our lives?  I hope you have all noticed the areas where paint has been removed from the sanctuary – they are indications of the former beauty that is just waiting to be revealed.
A great deal of preparation has been done to determine how best to proceed with the interior restoration of our Church after working on the exterior issues that surround us in our six parish buildings.  Months of planning and meeting with contractors have given us a plan to follow so that our buildings continue to enrich the lives that are touched by the many activities of this busy city parish.  In the next few weeks, as part of our 100th Anniversary Celebration, a campaign to fund these projects will be announced.
Our weekly income just covers our many expenses, so the added cost of these capital repairs and improvements need our added sacrifice and the help of all those who call Saint Thomas THEIR Parish.   With the continued generous assistance of our entire Parish and God’s help and in Jesus Christ– an overwhelming task will be accomplished.
This weekend, those who graduated from Saint Thomas School in 1960 will be with us as they celebrate their anniversary and great connection to Saint Thomas.  Please join me in not only welcoming them, but in showing how truly blessed Saint Thomas the Apostle STILL is!

With hope for all that is yet to be revealed,
