Welcome to our Newly expanded and updated website.
The Church of Saint Thomas the Apostle, located in Woodhaven, New York has served the Woodhaven and surrounding communities in line with the Gospel of Jesus Christ for over 100 years.
A Parish of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Brooklyn, we encourage all those who have been a part of our community, past and present, and all potential parishioners to join us in our Centenial Year Celebration.  For information on the Year-Long Festivities and to leave your name so as to receive updates on this information, please click here
We invite you to look around, and not only become more aquainted with our active, vibrant Catholic Community, but to share with us our many programs and opportunites for faith building.  We anticipate you joining us in prayer or in person, if your travels take you to Woodhaven.
Please feel free to share any comments or questions through our online guest book
Prayer is our conversation with God.  Sometimes our prayer is formal as in the rituals which are celebrated by the Church.  Other times, our prayer simply involves placing ourselves, and our cares before the God who loves us.
We invite you to make an online prayer request., so that our parish community may join you in seeking God's ever-present assistance.  Please join us in praying for one another.
If you are new to our parish community - we'd like to take this opportunity to invite you to pray with us at one of the weekly MassesPlease feel free to call the Parish Office to talk to one of the Parish Priests, Deacon or Pastoral Staff.  Questions about the Roman Catholic Church or celebrating the Sacraments of the Church are best made during business hours with a call to the Parish Office.

Although our patron, the great Saint Thomas doubted when the other disciples saw Jesus after His Resurrection, his belief expressed by the statement, "My Lord, and My God." indicate the end of his doubts.  We hope you and your family, like Saint Thomas, will come to see Jesus in each of us who make up the parish bearing his name.
Please continue to check back for updates, as well as our monthly schedules.
Many blessings to you,
 Frank C. Tumino
